Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for our Lyndhurst facility. You will verify, document, and handle inbound/outbound shipments, contributing to efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Mon–Fri 7AM–5:30PM and Sat 7AM–3:30PM. Responsibilities include managing shipments, maintaining ERP records, assembling/disassembling items for shipment, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic measurements and ability to read a tape measure.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle check.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturday shifts and overtime.
• Regular and punctual attendance required.
• Ability to wear all required PPE and work in environments that may be very hot or cold.
• This is a safety-sensitive position and requires pre-employment and ongoing drug testing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
• Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.

Job Role:

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining smooth logistical operations at our Lyndhurst facility. This position is responsible for verifying, documenting, and handling incoming and outgoing shipments, and contributes directly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7AM to 5:30PM and Saturday 7AM to 3:30PM.
