Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate data entry, scheduling updates, and shipping documents within the warehouse to support daily operations.

You will be the first line of communication with customers, processing inbound and outbound paperwork and BOLs, aiding freight flow, and supporting monthly cycle counts with inventory control. Strong accuracy and communication skills are essential in this team-driven role.

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
• Knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office Software.
• Knowledge or ability to learn other computer programs as needed (SAP, WMS, etc.).
• Ability to work in a clean and organized manner.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all data entry, scheduling updates and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily warehouse operations.
• Serve as first line of communication between customer and company.
• Prioritize and process inbound and outbound paperwork and BOLs.
• Assist in maintaining consistent flow of freight for timely outbound/inbound processing.
• Maintain audit integrity in accordance with physical contents for all freight received.
• Assist in the movement of freight for outbound/inbound processing.
• Aid Inventory Control to complete monthly cycle counts and update system accordingly.
