Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accuracy and timeliness of shipping documents. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and requires coordination with carriers and site staff to meet shipping requirements.

The position involves data entry in the warehouse management system, handling outbound paperwork, and supporting material handling activities as needed. Some nights, weekends or extended hours may be required based on customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities with good judgment under pressure.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules and equipment needs.
• Receives drivers and directs outbound shipments.
• Uses warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensures drivers depart with proper paperwork and accurate shipping documents.
• Maintains accuracy of shipping records and data in the system.
• Assists in material handling duties (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading).
• Monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters on moves.
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned by leadership.
