Qualifications

• Adequate typing/data entry and arithmetic using U.S. currency and measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between sales, operations, and external customers.
• Communicate shipment information requiring special handling to operations and sales personnel.
• Advise customers, sales personnel, and station management on shipment status.
• Respond to customer inquiries about shipment status, routings, Paid-On-Delivery charges, and other matters.
• Coordinate with sales and customers to develop customer-specific standard operating procedures.
• Follow up on sales leads from daily shipment logs and quotes.
• Assist with customer service and quote preparation.
• Perform other assigned duties.
