Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to optimize inbound/outbound shipments, coordinate LTL, truckload, and international freight, and ensure timely visibility and delivery appointments. This role partners with customers, carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams.

You will resolve transportation issues, manage freight documentation such as BOLs and proofs of delivery, and monitor KPI-driven costs while driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing distribution

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or customer service experience, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Hands-on experience coordinating domestic and international shipments, including LTL, full truckload, expedited freight, carrier scheduling, and shipment tracking.
• Knowledge of freight documentation and claims management, including BOLs, proof of delivery, freight invoices, customs paperwork, and transportation issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by scheduling and managing LTL, full truckload, expedited, dedicated, and international transportation.
• Track shipments and communicate updates by providing shipment visibility and coordinating delivery appointments.
• Work closely with customers, carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Resolve transportation issues and manage freight claims involving damages, shortages, lost shipments, and delivery exceptions.
• Maintain transportation records and documentation, including BOLs, proof of delivery, carrier records, freight invoices, customs documents, and accurate shipment files.
