The role emphasizes compliance with OPS and regulations, attention to detail, and proactive communication with customers and vendors to maintain seamless logistics services.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transportation processes is a plus.
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience or equivalent training.
• Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Positive and willing to help attitude.
• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and input customer orders and distribution accounts daily.
• Provide accurate daily operational reports.
• Generate paperwork for customer work orders and post inventory records.
• Data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping and inventory management.
• Rate domestic transportation bills.
• Trace orders and notify customers of activity.
• Ensure accurate client and vendor billing.
• Maintain damage records and backorder logs.
• Provide documents to warehouse staff for receiving and shipping.
• Liaise between warehouse and customer regarding invoicing and credit information.
• Maintain relationships with vendors (trucking companies, etc.).
• Support miscellaneous projects, filing and research.
• Comply with OPS and government regulations.
• Escalate problems to management when necessary.
