Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks an Assistant Hotel Manager to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season. You will assist the Hotel Manager in leading the hotel department to ensure top-quality service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.

The role involves supervising housekeeping, guest services, dining, and onboard events while maintaining safety and professional demeanor. Ideal candidates have a hospitality management degree or related business experience, 3+ years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or Hotel & Restaurant Management preferred.
• Business degree may be considered with management and hospitality experience.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Available to travel and work a flexible schedule including long days for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping and guest service functions under the Hotel Manager.
• Assist Hotel Manager and Dining Room Manager as directed.
• Perform duties of Hotel General Manager when needed on shipboard 1–2 times per week.
• Oversee shipboard operations, training, scheduling, and crew discipline.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of staterooms and public spaces.
