Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to support the Hotel Manager in delivering exceptional service aboard our ships for the 2026 season. You will lead hotel operations, supervise the housekeeping and guest services teams, and ensure dining, culinary, and enrichment standards meet company expectations.

You must have strong leadership, hospitality experience, and English communication skills; willingness to travel and live onboard for extended periods is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum 3 years management experience in a full-service hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under Hotel Manager.
• Assist Hotel Manager as directed.
• Assist Dining Room Manager during all meal services.
• Perform duties of Hotel General Manager when needed on ship.
• Prepare turnover and handoff with Hotel Manager during time off.
• Be present during all meals and onboard events, front or back of house.
