American Cruise Lines is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to oversee hotel operations aboard our vessels for the 2026 season. The role supports the Hotel Manager in ensuring service excellence, guest satisfaction, and adherence to standards across dining, housekeeping, guest services, and enrichment programs.

The position requires leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to hospitality, with long on-board periods and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under the Hotel Manager.
• Assist Hotel Manager as directed.
• Assist Dining Room Manager during all meal services.
• Perform duties of Hotel General Manager when Hotel General Manager is off ship.
• Prepare turnover with Hotel Manager for upcoming shifts.
• Be present during all meals, front or back of house.
• Ensure housekeeping keeps staterooms and public spaces clean.
• Assist with stateroom inspections.
• Oversee bar operations and manage wine/liquor inventory.
• Maintain professional presence and be visible to guests and crew.
• Hold crew to American Cruise Lines’ standards and procedures.
• Assist with shipboard events and training as needed.
