Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to support the Hotel Manager in delivering exceptional service aboard our vessels for the 2026 season. You will supervise the shipboard hotel team, ensure dining, housekeeping, and guest services meet standards, and contribute to guest satisfaction aboard a small-ship experience.

You will lead, train, and schedule crew, ensure compliance with the Operations Manual, and assist with turnover and event logistics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or hotel & restaurant management preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Minimum 3 years management experience at a full-service hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills (English).
Available to travel and work a flexible schedule including long days for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Supervise the Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under the Hotel Manager.
Assist Hotel Manager as directed.
Assist Dining Room Manager during all meal services and events.
Oversee shipboard operations and maintain service standards across departments.
Ensure cleanliness of staterooms, public spaces, and guest areas; manage inspections.
Coach and develop the hotel team, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
