Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to support the Hotel Manager on our 2026 season ships. You will supervise hotel operations, oversee dining and housekeeping, and help maintain service standards for guests across all shipboard departments.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years of management experience in hospitality or cruise environments, strong English communications, and the ability to travel and work extended onboard rotations. Health benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or Hotel & Restaurant Management is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Business degree may be considered with management and hospitality experience.
• Military experience may be considered with management and hospitality experience.
• Minimum 3 years management experience at a full-service hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Available to travel and work a flexible schedule including long days for extended periods of time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• US Coast Guard regulated pre-employment drug test.
• TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hotel departments and support the Hotel Manager.
• Assist Dining Room Manager during meals and events.
• Maintain cleanliness and service standards aboard ship.
• Oversee routine shipboard inspections and crew training.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to company procedures.
