American Cruise Lines seeks an Assistant Hotel Manager to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season. You will support the Hotel Manager in supervising hotel operations, dining, housekeeping, and guest services while ensuring service excellence and adherence to standards aboard our small-ship fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or Hotel & Restaurant Management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years management experience at a full-service hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication (English).
• Available to travel and work a flexible schedule including long days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under the Hotel Manager.
• Assist Hotel Manager as directed.
• Assist Dining Room Manager during all meal services.
• Perform duties of Hotel General Manager when the Hotel General Manager is off ship.
• Prepare turnover and handoff of duties during scheduled time off.
• Present and be available during all meals, front or back of house.
• Oversee bar operations and manage wine/liquor inventory.
• Ensure Housekeeping standards & guest areas are clean and well maintained.
• Comply with Operations Manual and service standards.
