Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance. The role leads the staff when no manager is onsite, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures while emphasizing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include supervising the crew, assisting customers, maintaining confidentiality, merchandising, pricing, and resetting departments following POGs to ensure a positive shopping experience

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the store crew: assign, direct and follow up on activities.
• Communicate effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality and uphold CVS customer service culture.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves; execute displays and inventories.
• Reset departments following planograms and manage off-shelf merchandise.
