Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position also assumes shift management in the absence of supervisory staff.

Qualifications

• Required: Strong communication skills and RSS Certification eligibility.
• Desired: Retail auto parts experience, ASE certification, multilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders promptly and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure schedules are followed and clock-in/out policies are observed.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and end-of-day procedures, banking, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
