Job summary

The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to lead shift operations, supervise restaurant staff, and ensure exceptional guest service and safety standards. You will coordinate with the kitchen team, implement promotions, and drive guest satisfaction while supporting financial goals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in food and beverage, a college degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to delegate, manage manpower and establish priorities consistent with department/hotel objectives.
• Listen effectively and communicate professionally with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift operations in the restaurant and liaise with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and quality service.
• Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and review staff.
• Create promotions, displays and buffet presentations to attract more in-house guests.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations and safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and generate reports for restaurant administration.
