Job summary

The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests during events and functions. You will interpret BEOs, understand event menus, and collaborate with the Banquet Captain to deliver attentive service.

Requirements include 3-6 months in food/beverage service, TIPs certification, and fluency in English. The role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the property.

Qualifications

• Three to six months experience in a food/beverage services environment.
• TIPs certification.
• Must read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Check server’s and house person’s BEOs to ensure information is accurate.
• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the beginning of each shift to ensure room is set as contracted.
• Know the menu for each function served and explain major ingredients and preparation methods.
• Set tables, glassware, flatware and silverware per dining rules and specification.
• Greet and serve guests following policies regarding the service of food and beverage.
• Maintain a neat station and cleanliness while servicing guests per procedures.
• Follow guest check and money-handling procedures for service and complete assigned side work.
