Marco’s Pizza in Ohio is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead team members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences during assigned shifts.

The role blends leadership with hands-on participation in food preparation and service, emphasizing food safety, cash handling, and workplace standards. You will coach staff, open/close the store, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store crew during shifts, leading operations in the manager's absence.
• Perform crew tasks including makeline, oven monitoring, packaging, order accuracy, and guest service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate with drivers and the manager for timely deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Coach and develop team members and provide clear expectations.
• Assist with training new team members.
• Handle shift-related issues professionally and solve problems.
• Communicate effectively with team and guests to ensure smooth operations.
