Job summary

Marco’s Pizza in Ohio is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations, guide team members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences during assigned shifts. The role combines hands-on food prep, service, and accountability for safety, cash handling, and standards.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, foster teamwork, and deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment, while supporting growth and training of staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store crew across all workstations during shifts.
• Perform all crew member tasks when needed (makeline, cut table, oven monitoring, packaging, order accuracy, guest service).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with Drivers and the Manager to ensure deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members.
