Job summary

Marco’s Pizza in Ohio is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations, support and guide team members, and ensure an exceptional guest experience during assigned shifts. This role combines leadership, hands-on food preparation, and accountability for food safety, cash handling, and workplace standards.

The Shift Manager will coach and develop staff, maintain a clean, organized environment, and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries while upholding product quality and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store crew across all workstations during shifts.
• Lead and train employees and manage open/close procedures.
• Perform crew tasks as needed: makeline, oven, packing, order accuracy, guest service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with Drivers and the Manager for timely deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members.
• Assist with training new team members and set clear expectations.
• Handle shift-related issues with professionalism and problem solving.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment while focusing on guest satisfaction.
