CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee, designed for individuals preparing for supervisory roles. The position includes overseeing staff, driving store performance, and providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma and retail experience, with a focus on customer loyalty and operational excellence.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work, complete management skills training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is also required.
At CVS Health, our purpose is helping people on their path to better health through innovative health services, plans, and community pharmacists. We aim to make quality care affordable, accessible, and seamless to promote overall well-being.
