CVS Health seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee who is eager to develop supervisory skills and prepare for higher roles in the store management hierarchy. This entry-level position involves managing store operations, supporting customer service, and learning the CVS/pharmacy culture while ensuring excellent service and customer loyalty.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of a manager, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
