CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to enhance customer loyalty and drive store performance through effective management. The role requires an entry-level candidate who is eager to develop supervisory skills, with a focus on exceptional service and operational support for management. Successful trainees may advance to leadership positions, ensuring a positive shopping experience and supervising store staff.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open leadership positions. These roles support the store management team by driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary, depending on the position, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
