CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to develop supervisory skills for future leadership roles. This entry-level position involves management training, customer service enhancement, and supporting store operations. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and analytical skills, alongside a commitment to customer satisfaction.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned tasks to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, Trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the Store Management team by driving store execution, performance, and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is required.
The pay range reflects the base hourly or annual salary, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
Our purpose is to help people on their path to better health through health services, plans, and community pharmacists—pioneering a comprehensive approach to total health, making quality care more affordable, accessible, and seamless.
