Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations on scheduled shifts and mentor new hires. You will ensure guest experiences are outstanding, uphold MOD standards, and guide the squad to success during each shift.

You will also collaborate with management to keep systems healthy, address concerns, and drive smooth daily operations while modeling MOD’s purpose in all interactions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Mentor or informal leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to enforce processes and standards with compassion.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by positioning the right squad member in the right place.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment for goals like online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen to and resolve squad or guest concerns; escalate as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift including refunds and deposits.
• Take inventory and place orders with the GM as needed.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Regularly review email updates for squad guidance and program changes.
