Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and mentor new hires. You will ensure team performance, guest experiences, and compliance with MOD standards while supporting management in daily tasks.

You will adapt to needs of the squad, sometimes leading, sometimes doing, while maintaining the MOD experience on every shift. This role emphasizes leadership by example and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week. This will include peak demand hours as determined by General Manager or District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by ensuring the right squad member is in the right place and performing the right work.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad members and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals and ensure food safety.
• Provide guidance and feedback, escalate issues to the GM/AM when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift responsibly, including refunds and safe cash handling.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with the GM.
• Adhere to shift checklists and use tools to execute requirements promptly.
• Monitor emails for updates from Slice and relay information to the squad.
