Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new team members and monitor cash handling and compliance.

Work flexible schedules across our travel plazas, while helping to deliver quick, friendly service, stock and sanitize stations, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures in accordance with policies.
• Operate POS system, handle payments accurately, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
