Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shift operations, ensuring top-notch customer service and adherence to brand standards and food safety protocols. You will train new team members and enforce cash handling policies while guiding staff through opening, daily, and closing procedures.

The role requires experience in cash handling and customer service, plus leadership skills to motivate a front-line team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsabilités

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and engage with travelers to resolve issues.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products when appropriate.
• Maintain product knowledge of plaza offerings and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Adhere to brand standards, food safety requirements, and all policies.
• Report observations or concerns to plaza leadership.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
