Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensuring top-notch customer service and adherence to brand standards and safety procedures. You will train new hires and monitor cash handling policies across our travel plazas.

The role requires cash handling and strong customer service skills, plus leadership experience. A flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members and enforce brand standards.
