Job summary

Marco’s Pizza in Maumee, OH is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations, train teammates, and ensure exceptional guest experiences during shifts. The role blends leadership with hands-on food prep, cash handling, and safety compliance.

You will coach staff, maintain standards, and collaborate with drivers and management to deliver timely, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store crew across all workstations during shifts.
• Lead and train employees, open/close the store, manage shifts.
• Perform crew tasks when needed (makeline, oven, packaging, guest service).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with drivers and the manager for deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers.
• Ensure food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Assist with training and setting expectations.
• Handle shift-related issues with professionalism.
