Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and train new hires. You’ll ensure a welcoming, efficient environment and uphold MOD’s standards across opening, mid, and closing duties.

You will supervise squad performance, handle deployments, and guide ongoing program rollouts to deliver outstanding guest experiences. A positive, proactive leadership style is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Must be able to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce processes and standards with compassionate coaching.
• Ability to stay calm during high-volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date where required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Available to work at least 3 shifts totaling 18 hours per week, including peak times.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure the restaurant is welcoming, runs smoothly, clean, organized, and meets MOD standards.
• Deploy the right squad member to the right task and adjust plans to keep operations running smoothly.
• Train newly hired or promoted squad members and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment, including online ordering and customer review systems.
• Ensure food safety practices in both Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns, escalate issues when needed.
• Handle cash within the shift accurately, including change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Complete shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
• Monitor emails for updates from MOD and other sources for squad alignment.
