Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will assist in training new hires, monitor cash handling procedures, and ensure operations run smoothly across the travel plaza.

The role requires strong cash handling, customer service, and leadership abilities, with flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced travel plaza setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and delivering friendly customer service.
• Shift supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to engage with the public in a friendly, energetic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve complaints.
• Open, daily, and closing procedures as per policy.
• Operate the POS system and handle transactions per policy.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members and enforce brand standards.
