Applegreen in New York is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure brand standards, and deliver exceptional service to travelers.

You will train new teammates, manage cash handling, and support food safety and operations while maintaining attendance and flexibility for days, nights, weekends and holidays. This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Report observations or concerns to plaza leadership.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
