Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in New York seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain strict brand standards and food-safety requirements. You will train new team members and manage cash handling procedures.

The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and a commitment to delivering great traveler experiences at our plazas.

Qualifikationen

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Able to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Aufgaben

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Train new team members and follow brand standards and policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
