Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety requirements. You will train new team members and monitor cash handling practices.

The role requires standing for extended periods, flexible scheduling including nights and holidays, and knowledge of POS operations. Join a growing nationwide network of travel plazas with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash-handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
