Job summary

Applegreen seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety across the plaza. You will train new team members and monitor cash handling practices.

This role requires flexible scheduling, strong communication, and a friendly, outgoing attitude to engage travelers and resolve issues while maintaining product quality and operations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks are followed.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and train new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems and assist with other tasks.
