Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams and ensure excellent customer service. You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, and enforce brand standards and food safety.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, operating POS, daily tasks, and cross-selling, with flexible schedules including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS and process payments according to policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
