Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure excellent customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety.

You will train new hires, manage cash handling, and support daily operations, including opening, running, and closing tasks. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products and maintain product knowledge.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards and safety requirements.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems and perform other duties as assigned.
