Applegreen USA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts at one of our travel plazas in New Jersey. You will ensure exceptional customer service and enforce brand standards and food safety requirements.

You will train newly hired team members, monitor cash handling, and ensure opening, running, and closing procedures are followed. This role supports operations across the plaza and requires a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products; maintain product knowledge.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards and policies.
