Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure top-tier customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety.

You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, and oversee opening and closing procedures, while maintaining product knowledge and cross-selling opportunities.

This role offers flexible schedules and opportunities to grow within a nationwide network of travel plazas.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and handle cash per procedures.
• Follow food handling procedures and ensure product quality.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
