Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards at our travel plaza locations in New Jersey. The role emphasizes training new team members, cash handling compliance, and maintaining food safety protocols.

You will supervise staff, resolve customer concerns, and perform opening, daily, and closing tasks while supporting a fast-paced, growth-oriented team across multiple plazas.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and cash handling policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations, concerns, or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
