Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensuring top-notch customer service and adherence to brand standards on site. This role focuses on managing cash handling, training new team members, and maintaining food safety across duties.

You will actively engage customers, supervise a team, and uphold policies while supporting daily plaza operations and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other assigned tasks.
