Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while focusing on customer service. When managers are absent, the Shift Supervisor leads staff, completes opening/closing, and ensures operations run smoothly.

Key duties include supervising activities, assisting customers, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring promotional displays and stock are managed effectively. The role requires flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Open and close procedures and ensure smooth store operations.
• Supervise the store’s crew through assigning and following up on activities.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS service culture.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure a positive shopping experience.
