Job summary

PLS in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise the team, assist the Store Manager, and ensure compliance with policies while driving store performance.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and flexibility to work varied hours to meet store goals. English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail or restaurant.
• Ability to engage with customers and develop relationships.
• Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• High-energy, collaborative management experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exemplary customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Establish a strong customer service culture in the store.
• Support the Assistant Store Manager in meeting store goals and objectives.
• Assist in developing and motivating staff to exceed expectations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Supervise team in the absence of the Store Manager, including transactions and cash handling.
• Coach CSRs on proper transactions and service standards.
• Review and approve checks within limits.
• Support store marketing efforts in the community.
• Resolve customer complaints and manage schedules, cash, and audits.
