Job summary

ApplegreenUSA is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead plaza teams across our travel plazas in the Northeast and Midwest. You will ensure exceptional customer service, train new staff, and enforce brand standards and food safety while managing cash handling and daily procedures.

You will supervise shifts, resolve customer issues, operate the POS system, and perform a variety of kitchen and store duties to maintain smooth plaza operations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members and follow brand standards.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
