Job summary

Applegreen USA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, offering convenience, comfort, retail and food options. As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead shifts, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements.

You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, and perform opening, daily, and closing procedures while maintaining product quality and safety across the plaza.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating and storage.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations, concerns or problems.
