Applegreen USA operates travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, offering convenience, food, and retail options. As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety policies while training new staff.

You will handle cash, operate the POS, and perform opening/closing tasks, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Join a fast-paced team focused on pace, passion and performance.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Follow food safety, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products and maintain product knowledge.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards.
• Notify plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
