Job summary

Yoshinoya America, Inc. is seeking a capable supervisor who participates in daily food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations.

The role includes intermittently directing others in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety procedures. Responsibilities also cover staff training, shift supervision, FIFO inventory, cash controls, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Reads and comprehends simple instructions and memos.
• Writes simple correspondence and speaks effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs others in absence of GM/AGM; participates in daily food prep, cooking, plating, cashiering, and guest relations.
• Ensures food and beverages meet Yoshinoya specifications and safe handling requirements.
• Completes reports and follows merchandise storage labeling procedures.
• Responds to customer complaints per policy; contacts management for refunds.
• Trains staff, monitors shift activities, and provides feedback.
• Maintains FIFO rotation and enforces cash handling procedures.
• Ensures cleanliness and safe operation of equipment; reports injuries.
• Monitors change funds and communicates with staff and management.
