Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain brand standards across duties from cash handling to food safety. The role involves training new staff, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements include prior cash handling and customer service experience, and leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards and policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems and support other duties as assigned.
