Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure excellent customer service, and enforce brand standards across the plaza. You will train new team members and ensure cash handling compliance while performing kitchen and food-handling tasks.

The role requires standing for extended periods, flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing interaction with the public and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
