Job summary

Red Robin in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to help manage daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts, under the supervision of exempt management. You will train on the job, lead a small team, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain cleanliness and food quality.

The role requires you to contribute to profitability and brand standards. Must be 21+, with 1 year of full-service restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required
• Serv Safe Certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations during scheduled mid and closing shifts under supervision of exempt management.
• Act as ambassador of company and brand equity standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Lead and supervise peers; train on-the-job for management tasks and leadership growth.
• Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness; resolve guest concerns.
• Schedule based on restaurant needs and maintain flexibility across shifts.
